STUDIO ELECTRIC TYPE FOUR Ultimate In-wall™
The
T4 features our proprietary broadband sphere in a unique in-wall loudspeaker.
Both the broadband driver and the dome tweeter can be adjusted for "toe-in".
This unique approach allows precise adjustments for image and sound
stage, not
usually available in an in-wall speaker. This feature also can limit
refection off side-walls. Further acoustic
control comes with an optional DSP low frequency room
tuning unit. T4 is designed to fit between 16" on-center 2x10 or
2x12 stud walls in custom theater build-outs. Standard configuration
is 3-way passive. Biamping is also available and is required when using
the optional DSP low frequency control system.
Custom grills and on-site room tuning is available. Consult our shop for details. This speaker is based on the acoustical and electrical elements of our TYPE THREE with a slightly larger sub woofer. The heart and soul of the design is our unique 6.5 inch broadband drive unit (encased in a steel sphere) handling frequencies from 50 Hz to 3.8Kz. A 10" sub woofer adds deep bass in the lowest octave. A hand selected silk dome tweeter provides extension into the upper harmonics.
